Sad to Announce !

Hi everyone,

I am sad to announce that Dizzy was pregnant but we can now confirm that she sadly had a miscarriage. Dizzy is doing really well but we hope the next time she will carry her pups fully through.

Thankyou, and also apologies for the times between posts I am snowed under completely at work lately. As soon as I get more breaks I will make more frequent posts here and on my website, www.miniature-dachshund.co.uk

Cooper...he has a thing for water coming out of hoses ! lol

Ok Dizzy is on heat....and it ain't fun !

Well it's that wonderful time of the year again when Dizzy is on heat. We have had to make her makeshift pants to stop the bleedin going all over the floors and carpets....and to prevent Cooper getting his ways.

Cooper is turning into a knightmare ! He has been licking all sorts ! in the garden when Dizzy is out there. Last night was the final straw when we came down stairs to find their brand new expensive bed absolutely ruined ! We had decided to put poor Dizzy in a cage to let her relax for the night as Cooper will go all through it and Cooper in his wisdom decided to dig for the entire night tearing up the expensive bed putting fluff everywhere.....we were not impressed and he is now in the bad books today.

He is wining non stop so he can get to Dizzy. The smell must be driving him bonkers lol (all rather disgusting to be honest but nothing, inc. vix on the pants, seems to help ! If anyone has any ideas please do message me as it would be much appreciated.

I'll keep you all updated.
